[v3.3] Internal routine changes.
01/13/91
[v3.2] Added error trapping routines
Changed method of creating filenames that hold the "saved"
game. This will accomodate 1-word handles.
01/07/91
[v3.1] Well I finally was able to locate that little bug some of
you said existed. Seems that Yahtzee bonus' were being given
at odd times and not conforming to giving the bonus' only
after all 3 Yahtzee categories were filled. Please let me
know if I still have a "bug" with this item.
01/01/91
[v3.0] Problem with last display of instructions not remaining
on screen.
Several internal programming changes.
12/29/90
[v2.9] ADOPT-A-DOOR display problem fixed
"Warnin x Minutes Remain...." message messed up the display.
The message has been eliminated.
ANSI checking is now automatic. Opening screen ANSI
question has been eliminated.
DORINFOx.DEF now handles security levels > 32767.
12/02/90 [v2.8] HiScore file name capitalization inconsistant with
prior versions. All names will now be capitalized.
12/01/90
[v2.7] Corrected a problem with the "game save" feature.
NOTE:Delete the YAHTZEE.INX file and ANY .SAV files
in your directory.
Not recognizing DORINFOx.DEF - Fixed
Not handling midnight time change properly - Fixed
11/27/90
[v2.6]
Now Supports DOOR.SYS, CALLINFO.BBS, DORINFOx.DEF and
PCBoard.SYS.
Major board color is now configurable.
ADOPT-A-DOOR is now an option in Config file
11/16/90
[v2.5] Cosmetic changes.
More informative opening screen.
11/16/90
[v2.4]
Problems reported relative to the slow response after a key
is pressed in response to a prompt. This only happened if
using the HOTKEY option. Changed some of the input routines
and it looks like I have fixed the problem. Feedback about
whether it is better or not would be appreciated!
11/10/90
[v2.3] When running the Door Converter called DoorMaster and you
are using the Door in a local mode, DoorMaster created a
4 digit number for "call time remaining". Since I was
expecting a 3 digit maximum, pgm was producing an ERROR #5.
I have fixed this by changing the time remaining to 30
minutes if the time remaining is greater than 999 minutes.
(That should be more than enough for a Sysop to play the
game locally...<grin>)
11/08/90
[v2.2] Caller names were not being outputted in uppercase. This
caused a problem with the HiScore file in that a caller
could show up in the Hiscore file with their name in both
upper and upper/lower case. To correct the file use an
editor or word processor to correct the spelling to all
upper case characters.
11/04/90
[v2.1] Having failed to fix the intermittant system hangs, I have
re-written the program using a different set of routines.
This version requires a CHANGE to the CONFIGURATION FILE!!
Check the DOCs for changes required !!
Added option to allow Sysop to bypass dipalying the
ADOPT-A-DOORmessage!
10/20/90
[v2.0] Several changes made in an ATTEMPT to fix the "system hang"
problem when running under SOME DesqView configurations.
Slight cosmetic changes made.
You may now use a zero (0), along with a "P" or a "+" to
signal that you want to stop rolling the dice and play the
current hand!
ADOPT-A-DOOR display now centers names automatically.
Removed the BRUN45.EXE file from the ZIP file. This was done
to reduce the size of the ZIP which will result in a shorter
transfer time. It will be available on the Sunrise-80 BBS.
09/21/90
[v1.9] The speed by which individual dice are changed/displayed,
has been increased. This will speedup overall game play.
Added a new entry to the configuration file. You can now
set the initial setting of the HOTKEY feature to either
ON or OFF (1=ON, 0=OFF).
Several Sysops have reported unusually long delays (and
possible system hang situations) when running TY under
a DesqView environment. From what I can tell, it has
something to do with the way I was causing "pre-planned"
pauses throughout the program. I have made some changes,
but since I do not run in a DesqView environment, I would
appreciate some feedback from those of you that do.
NOTE: Unregistered version will encounter a 15 seconds
(approx) delay on the opening and closing screen!
08/28/90
[v1.8] Error #52 on multi-node systems....fixed
08/25/90
[v1.7] HOTKEY activate/deactivate is now consistant for all
input fields on the game board.
Game Board heading changed to reflect only the name
of the game and the version being used.
Added the ability to play another game, when current
game is completed, rather than having to exit and
enter the door again.
I believe I have fixed the color problems at the end
of the game and while displaying the Top Score list.
If not please let me know!
08/23/90
[v1.6] Removed requirement that SHARE be loaded in single
node systems.
Fixed a misplaced "pause" statement
Introducing the ADOPT-A-DOOR concept. See Docs for
more info.
New feature allows player to toggle between HOTKEY
and non-HOTKEY, when responding to prompts.
Corrected a problem with the game SAVE routine, where
a game was saved one day and was not found when the
player logged back on next time.
08/19/90
[v1.5] Added the capability to produce a Bulletin of the
Top Scores. This requires an addition to the
configuration file.
The DOC file has been updated to reflect this new
feature, as well as including a warning that you
MUST have SHARE loaded or you will get an ERROR #70.
08/18/90
[v1.4] Added a new entry to .CNF file. You can now control the
keyboard timeout value. Minimum value=2 minutes.
Minimum number of HiScore entries allowed is 10.
08/17/90
[v1.3] Fixed Error #5 generated when updating the HiScore file
08/17/90
[v1.2] Added some code to support multi-node system usage.
I am unable to test the multi-node function, so I
would appreciate some help.
08/14/90
[v1.1] Several minor "bugs" eradicated.
08/11/90
[v1.0] First production release.
